We just tore down and rebuilt a house on a lot, how do we change the zestimate?

property:

The zestimate still reflects the old tear-down property's value. The current house is a ground-up new, modern, architect designed, built green construction with high end finishes. We only kept the foundation. There doesnt seem to be any way of telling Zillow that this isn't the same house anymore.

The most GREEN thing you could have done is restore the old home.  There is nothing green about demolition.

You can claim the home and edit the property details (house size, rooms etc). (see the FAQs)    Unfortunately the Zestimate assumes standard condition when comparing homes so high end finishes, green construction etc won't reflect in the Zestimate.   When the "my estimate' tool returns on line (hopefully by the end of the year),  then you will have more tools at your disposal.

I hope you are enjoying your new home.
