I submitted my info 3 full weeks ago and Zillow still is "processing my request". 10 Years Direct "Correspondent" lender. Anyone else have this type of delay experience?

No, I was done in about 2 days, but I do believe that there has been an influx of requests. That is probably why

Yes a few have had some delays. Not sure but would guess its either "technical" or "overload".
The current # listed for "participating lenders" is 2,350. I'm not sure how many of those are pending approval.
San Diego is a nice place to visit. I had a few trips there and really enjoyed the area.

Thanks Wayne! Love this site, just from a standpoint of getting a better idea of what other lenders are doing and hearing from other professionals. If I get any business from it, that's icing. :-)
If you mistakenly quote a 15 year fix as a 30 and wind up in the hall of shame, you should get a courtesy email. Pop over and say sorry and be on your merry old way.
If you fake your own ratings or offer 30 year fixed rates at 4% (well it's really 6% but the accellerator progrma makes it 4%), you better put on some kelvar because some Jenn shrapnel is coming your way.
Shap... I'm starting to wonder if I've gotten a reputation... hehehe... Good advice to the newbies though... I almost get teary-eyed thinking about it... it seems like only yesterday I was getting reamed out by Andrew, and taunted by others... Ah, what a couple of months of being a royal b1tch will do! :)

lol Love it! Still dipping my toe, I'm sure I'll get a little more courageous as my comfort level rises but for now - lots of "in my experience", "my opinion and it's only an opinion" and "actual results may vary" comments... :-)

Thanks GVD that is interesting. I just signed up spur of the moment, I wasn't really planning on spending much time on it since it seems a difficult place to get good ROI of ones time. I could see it working perhaps for brokers who work on thin margins.
I wonder if Zillow will return my $25 processing fee?!? I sent them an email about 8 days ago to ask about delay, no response to that either.
Justin, did you put an info request in under the Using Zillow thread? They'll notice it a little quicker there I believe. Not so much for the refund, but checking on the status of your app.

Good stuff and the more all are welcomed and "understand the rules" (ZILLOWS not mine) the better off this site will be and in the end, we will be happy to have been here, ZILL oges public, makes a crankload of cash.... publishes my mortgage follies memoirs and back my syndicated radio and TV show and it's all good. In all seriousness.... My advice to all (and welcomed) members.. Be a pro... meaning know what and why you are giving an opinion as many folk are in real need of real help.. not products...help. Give it away and you will be rewarded somewhere someday. Quote responsibly (sounds like a beer commerical) and more importantly be able to deliver it (within reason as the market changes), don't pimp (peeps can find you with their mouse.. you don't need them to hyperlink to your homepage here, nor do they need your home number listed I promise) and it's all good. Keep rockin'.

Its good to see some of the "founding patriarchs" stop in and say their hello's. Actually I'm not sure how long Martin, GVD, George, Jennifer, Tammy, and Shap have been posting here, but believe it is before the mortgage quote option was added. Reviewing their posts on many subjects gave me a chance to see their "humor" as well as their professionalism.
Hopefully others will pop in and introduce themelves along with more "newbies".
