Our Condo (The Sands), has the perfect south-east exposure which is rare on this 7 mile island. We never get the direct morning hit of the rising sun over the ocean, but still have our "drop dead view" of the ocean. In the late afternoon, with the pink skies and setting sun we also never get the full heat. We do have the electric rolladen shades over the hurricane windows for extra shade or a room darkening for the bedrooms.
