Basically, the benefit of using Zillow is the knowledge you may obtain by reading the posts. And, there is a slight entertainment factor too.

You can get a lower mortgage interest rate by using Zillow Mortgage Market page.
If you are the buyer, you can search for a real estate agent in Zillow's directory page and get better idea for the local information by click on the 'Local info' page.
and if you are an agent or the home owner who try to sell your home by FSBO or rent it out then it is good to advertise on Zillow.
