You didn't previously mention your BK. You will need to wait 3-years from the time of you're BK discharge before pursuing another mortgage loan.

What if the deed in lieu on the timeshare was recorded prior to filing for Ch. 7 bankruptcy?  The only problem is we were not able to add the timeshare to the bankruptcy?

Not all timeshares are considered mortgage credit, but are considered consumer credit. Did you see under which category the credit bureaus are reporting this?

If it is reported on your credit report as a foreclosure or closed lien for less than full repayment (and they usually are reported by the timeshare lender) then the same time requirements FHA has on a prior foreclosure are applicable.
