Try getting in touch with a local pro there by clicking above on the professional tab. You can get in touch with Florida pros who can give you the ins and outs of buying there now. I think that's the best way to know for sure.

As home prices on traditional sales have declined over the last few years and the increase in the number of short sales and foreclosure opportunities...all buyers are getting bargains purchases in Florida. The biggest decision you'll have to make is where in The Sunshine State you want to own this property. Tampa Bay has everything you're looking for. Please let me know, I'll be happy to discuss with you.

We also recommend condominiums in South Florida in general. The condo market has witnessed as much as a 60% increase in selling price, since 2011 and we expect the market to experience a sustained recovery, making now the perfect time to buy. Best of luck and contact us with questions.

South Florida is an excellent place to buy for an investment property. 50% of the inventory is distressed and this inventory is shrinking because there are many interested parties. Contact us for details,

Depends on whether you are going to personally use it and which side you want to be on, Atlantic or Gulf.I would suggest areas that have traditionally been popular in the past, Naples, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, I also like St Augustine. Are you going to be spending time there personally or just want to rent it out. Before you purchase, make sure you know what the rentals rules are for the Home Owners Association. I would suggest a condo as an investment as a home requires a little more upkeep , (unless you plan to use a management company) On the upside of a home, the hoa's may be smaller. I also like Singer Island which has beautiful wide beaches. You like baseball(your picture) Jupiter , which is in the West Palm Beach area is home to spring training for the Cardinals and Marlins. If its investment, make sure there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms. And again check with the home owners association to know the rules regarding rentals.
