What are the historic neighborhoods in Topeka, KS?

Topeka neighborhoods vary, but there are several that preserve a piece of history.  There is a wide variety to Topeka neighborhoods as Topeka, KS is a city of just over 150,000 people in Topeka and Shawnee County.  Like many cities, Topeka neighborhoods range for historic to new construction.  In Topeka, KS you can find homes for sale in historic Westboro, Collins Park or College Hill neighborhoods.  All of these areas are located in the center of town.  These older Topeka neighborhoods have parks, gardens and historic charm.  Many of the homes in these area like Westboro were built in the 1920 and 1930s. There is a great sense of pride in these areas and at Christmas time you can find that many homeowners showcase their homes.  In the Spring you can find the residents having Easter Egg Hunts and parades on 4th of July.
