We are moving this summer so my husband can work in Crystal City 4 days & at home 1 day per wk.  We would like to find a home for b/t $500K and $600K and want terrific elementary schools.  I think my oldest will qualify for the Gifted and Talented - what neighborhoods, communities, cities do I look?

You can choose Springfield, Vienna, Mclean & Burke area. Springfield & Burke have VRE access that will help him to get to his work easier than sitting in the VA traffic.

I would recommend you to narrow down the schools you like in Fairfax County and then contact a Realtor to help you find homes as per your search criteria.
