With a credit score between 560-599 as you stated in your quote, it's going to be tough to get financing.  You also state in your quote you don't have any money down, banks are no longer doing 100% financing.

As Jim said the better move might be to have you father purchase the home as an investment property.  In the mean time you should work on repairing your damaged credit and saving a couple bucks to repay your father the down payment.

The first question is how long since the forclosure date? Normally need 3 years.
The other idea might be for your Dad to purchase it as a rental property with 20% down and let you rent until you can qualify to refinance it into your name.
