What can I do to get more (or better) quotes for my loan request ZR-ZMBTNFV

I am a graduate student, I do not currently have income other than a living allowance ( which is 22,000 a year). I know my loans cannot be counted as income, but can a living allowance provided by family be counted if it can be verified? My rent payments for the last 5 years have been far higher than the estimated mortgage I am looking to take out -this can be verified through bank records. Is there any way I would qualify for a 50,000 mortgage, and would a co-signer make a big difference?

Do a FHA loan with a co-signer and you will be just fine.

Try a local lender & then compare to local credit union, and finally your bank you use. Best of luck. Spirit

Do you report the "living allowance" on your tax returns?

Co-signer with income that qualifies could make a huge difference, as a "living allowance" may be hard to use.

What form do you get this living allowance?  Is it a trust fund you have received funds from for awhile?  Just money that the family sends you each month in a personal check/transfer into your account?
