Renovations that add rooms/square footage may affect the Zestimate.  If the renovations are repairs, upgrades etc these are facts best reflected in the owner's estimate. 

Once you've claimed your home, you can edit the home facts as well as put information in for the owner's estimate.

Zillow also pulls from the tax records which should reflect the improvements.If the records don't, this can hurt the buyers morgage appraisal.

Claim your home and edit the details, it may not change the Zestimate, however it may change the owner estimate.
