The Spring 2012 real estate market should be active as there is pent-up demand as so many buyers and sellers have been putting off their decisions to buy or to sell.  Once the holidays are over and the weather gets better buyers will be ready to start looking at homes.  Traditionally spring markets are good!

Hi Paulette,

Hope you are well.  I think the spring market in 2012 will be much like the spring market of 2011.  In one word, hot! Last spring, in Westchester, we had a huge increase in sales.  Largely in part of the low interest rates.  This coming spring season we are already seeing forecasting predicting even lower mortgage rates potential as low as 3.5% or lower.
