Zillow isn't an MLS and isn't a licensed real estate broker, so why would you expect the data here to be correct?  This site exists only to sell advertising to real estate related businesses.

There are a number of properties that have been refinanced in the state of Washington that are appearing as "sold" for $561.   When I scanned the entire state a few hours ago, it was about 2300 properties.   It seems to be most prevalent in Snohomish county and the Spokane area (several hundred).  

I sent Rachel of Zillow a message earlier today requesting an investigation of the issue.
