What does it take to get a demolished home removed?

A neighbor's house has been demolished, and still shows up on Zillow. This home drove down property values, and now it's finally gone. What does it take for Zillow to update their database to reflect the fact that this home is now demolished and gone, so that it doesn't negatively impact neighboring home values?

It does not impact home values as the modeling is done to "non-distressed recently sold" (within the past 6 months).
See the Zillow FAQ: "what is a Zestimate".

To get the details page changed to "empty lot", use the "report a problem" on the home details page under the "more" pull down tab.

As for the images.... from Bing, or Google, or USGS.gov ... it takes about 2 to 6 years for those to be replaced, as the satellites take awhile to pass the same spot again, and if there was cloud cover when passing over, those images would have to be thrown out.
