What if Zillow has the square footage wrong on a house, what can be done to change it?

1104 Kensington Lake Dr in Easley, SC is listed as 2301 square feet instead of 3200 square feet. a lot of people look at you web site and the information is incorrect. your wrong information may certainly be keeping people from looking at our house and wondering why the price for the square footage you have listed.  In a way it's wrong advertising and it is hurting the chance for our house to be shown.  Please correct it, contact our listing agent.  maryjane comer

Most definately have your listing agent get involved. Zillow will get the information from the listing agent although it could take a few days by the time it downloads.
Always use a listing agent and that should keep things in alignment and keep order in the transaction.

Your listing agent can change the square footage.  The best way would be to have it in the listing feed to Zillow.

Have you checked other websites?    I found several showing the 2301, and several showing no home square footage (which comes from  your agent).   What does your county assessor's office records say?   Is it possible you wish to include basement square feet?

As a buyer, I'm very likely to skip houses with no size listed.   Therefore, ask your agent to get the square footage right in her feed.
