Zillow doesn't give appraisals or give market values, but they do have Zestimate number. You can go here enter your address in the Find Homes box and hit the blue GO button. If Zillow has one for your house, a map will come up for your area. Click on the address box to get to your home page with even more information about your neighborhood, recently sold houses and charts. Zillow adds new houses as they compile information so if you don't have a Zestimate yet, you will in the future. If you need more specific information about your house value, you can contact a local realtor for a CMA or hire and appraiser to help you. There are also nice local realtors on the board that are willing to help.

Your home is in one of the strongest markets within Ann Arbor, which is the strongest market is SE Michigan. Having representing both buyers and sellers in the Old WestSide (and realizing you are probably right on the border of that designation), I was amazed at some of the prices that the homes continued to command. A 1920's home with 5 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths in the Eberwhite school district is rare and in demand. Most homes in that area, as I am sure you know, are smaller than yours. AND many of their owners are loyal Old Westsiders who have outgrown their own homes. They would like to move to a larger home, but can rarely find them.
Your value is completely dependent upon the condition of your home. I recently sold 2 homes in updated condition. With proper staging, their prices defied the market numbers.
