The "value" is an interesting question. Depends on what you're looking to accomplish. Are you thinking about re-financing? Are you thinking about putting your property up for sale? The value can be subjective to various other market factors: condition of home, home sales in your recent area (comps), location, upgrades, etc. If you want to contact me, and with that I'll mention I'm an Exclusive Buyers Agent, I don't take listings -- so I wouldn't be pursuring you for a listing -- but I can discuss your question with you in more details, as a consultation. zillow is a great place to start; they have a nice and easy format. Click on the Homes tab, enter your address then on the left side you can refine your search to just the recently sold. You can also move around the map by clicking on it.
You might also try PortlandMaps.com this site is run by Multnomah County and is a great resourse. Once you've entered your address the 'Property' 'Summary' page displays. On the same line as 'Summary' you will find a link 'Block', this is a list of homes on your block and the tax assest value. They also have an Advance option on the home page that will allow you to do a broad search by zip code, or recently sold homes.
Once you've selected the advanced search option change the "Search Type" to 'Property Data Search'. Fill in the year built and the square footage information that would be a range around your homes specification. Then add your zip code. It gives you options on how to sort the data; I like the sort by sales price. Once you hit search the results will display in the lower half of the screen. You'll more than likely need to scroll to see all of them so look to the far right for the scroll bar. Also they will display the results in groups of 50 so if you have more then that the additonal results will be displayed as links in the grey area at the bottom right of the screen.
