Your best bet is going to be to contact a local realtor with the question. It's really hard to get an "average cost" on new construction because it depends on the qualtiy of the builder and amenities you choose to include during the construction process. I suggest comparing as many builders as you want by the quality that goes into their construction. Things you might want to considr in the comparisum include: 2x6 or 2x4 exterior wall construction-HERS or Energy star rated construction-types,quality,efficiency of heat/air/siding/roof. Is the buuilder willing to offer some type of guarantee and put it in writing? How long and who are the subcontractors the builder uses...there are many more but a local realtor will be more familiar and able to help. I'd be happy to help by referring you to someone.
