Please don't tell me you're using the zestimate as the basis for coming up with an offer?

This is a HUGE purchase, and clearly you have no idea what you are doing!
No disrespect intended, but seriously...........have you looked at any legitimate closed sales? Has anyone discussed market conditions with you...or.....average days on market......or....percentage of list price to sale price?
Are you familiar with the competing listings currently on the market?

If your answers are no, no, no and no.............you truly need to hire someone (a buyer's agent)  who can help guide you through the home buying process...or, at the VERY least,  take the time to teach yourself .
Your question indicates how much you need to learn.

Best wishes........

Dear User,
You need to talk to a local Realtor to know what a good offer would be. Work with someone who sells and knows the Real Estate Market in your area. What offer to make depends upon many factors.

Take what Zillow says with a grain of salt. If this is your dream home and you don't want to lose out on it, offer the asking price. If you feel like the home is worth 575, offer the asking price.

You can offer what Zillow says and let the seller counteroffer, there are multiple ways to do this.

Are you working with a Realtor? They should offer some advice and may be able to tell you what homes are selling for when compared to the list price.
