In the last six months, detached houses stayed on the market an average of 67 days, and condos/townhomes stayed on the market for an average of 91 days.

really though, in this market, it's not telling you much. With so many short sales taking so long to get buyers and go into escrow, it depends on if you want to know for a regular sale or a short sale.

If I took short sales out of the mix, condos would be on the market an average of 52 days, and detached homes an average of 47 days.
