What is the best way to hook-up with an agent who specializes in foreclosures?

If I want to find a great deal on a home in Durham, NC (as an investment) how do I find agents who specialize in REOs, short sales and foreclosures?

Coming on here may be one of the best ways.  I can certainly help you and have been training agents on foreclosures for many years before they were commonplace.  Feel free to contact me here through Zillow.  You can also go to google and search foreclosures in Durham and see what agents come up.  Go to ActiveRain and read a few blogs by local agents on foreclosures and you will learn there are really only a few that truely "specialize" or have had much experience in foreclosures.  Our office sells many of them a year but not all offices even handle them.

Check out this super funny video on buying bank owned property.  It is not sponsored by any company and wont try to sell you anything.  It is just a really funny way to prep yourself for making offers on bank-owned properties...http://activerain.com/blogsview/1285828/we-don-t-want-your-stinking-offer-buying-a-bank-owned-property

Good luck shopping for an agent and a house!
