Most associations in the State of Georgia are corporations - typically non-profit corporations. They should be subject to registration with the Secretary of State, and are subject to business and real estate laws within the state through the Georgia court system.
There are a number of laws which pertain specifically to condo associations, in addition to those for home owners or property owner associations.
