As I understand it, the city has chosen not to get involved in defining the exact borders of the neighborhoods. So, there is no real answer -- it's either 75th or 80th.

fwiw, Zillow labels homes 76th street and North as Greenwood, 75th street and South as Phinney. But sounds like it's a little fluid.

Actually, if you look at http://clerk.ci.seattle.wa.us/~public/nmaps/fullcit2.htm, you'll see that the city does indeed define neighborhood borders. According to the city, Phinney Ridge ends at 75th.

I think 80th is more of a defined border, 75th is right in the heart of Phinney Ridge.

You'd be surprised at how far off the city is from what residents claim (see North Wallingford/South Green Lake). 75th seems to fit, but you'll probably find plenty of residents North to 80th that claim Phinney.

What is the northern border of the Phinney Ridge neighborhood?
I have heard N 80th, but some people say N 75th.
