If there is a listing of "Pending Sale" and then "Listing Removed" does that mean the sale went through or that it didn't?  Does "Pending Sale" always indicate a short sale?

For Denver Metrolist (MLS) in Metro Denver, CO, Pending is the new classification given to Short Sales and Foreclosure properties that are under contract, but they are still being shown for backup contracts.
