Call you loan officer. It should be approved within a few days, however, you need to take a deep breath,pick up the phone and call the person responsible to ask them what they know.Congratulations!

Sharon is correct, you need to check in with your loan officer. Every lending institution is different with what they have in the pipeline with the underwriter dept at any given point of each month. There are a great number of refinances in the systems now, so these can "bog" down the turnaround time in underwriting and in the next phase...the closing turnaround. Some lenders mandate a minimum 48 hour turnaround regardless of volume in the system. You may want to be certain that your closing agent is ready with all the necessary items for a preliminary closing package, such as a termite inspection, systems inspections if necessary (well?, septic?) title search, homeowners insurance binder, sellers documents, etc (regardless of who is responsible for these items). What is turn around for Underwriter to approve loan since cash check for appraisal?
We made sure interest rate lock at 3.75%...I AM FREAKING OUT we really need this home family home. 2,088 sqf built 2010
