What is wrong with Zestimate?

Why is the Zestimate swinging so wildly out of control. One month it is way up. Next month it is way down. Even the past Zestimate of my house changed. One day I checked the site and it showed my house worth $50K more than it should have been several years ago. And now it is way undervalued this month. How can home values change in the past? Is there a calculation/algorithm problem happening?
