Madison's does have a nice variety. Normally, their chicken or seafood dishes are offered as their specials. A good app to try is the Angry Shrimp. They serve it with a Chipolte Raspberry sauce that is pretty tasty.

When I'm breezing through town, I like to stop in Madison's Cafe.
They have a very "nice-casual" atmosphere, a large menu of "fun foods"
with their appetizers and sandwich selections as well as lots of pasta dishes and steaks....they could offer a few choices for seafood/chicken/pork from the grill, though.

I have been to La Bamba a few times. There is so much competition in Jefferson City between Mexican restaurants. Most recently, I went to El Espolon and I think I like it best right now.
