If you like Indian food, check out the new restaurant on Temecula pkwy, called Blue Peacock. It's located near Barley and Hops. They've a great buffet daily, incl weekends. Great value and family owned.

Meritage at Callaway Winery is GREAT, especially during the summer. Great view, great food, great wine. They have a new tapas menu that's really fun if you want to try lots of different things.
Temecula Pizza Co. is the best pizza hands down. There's some really unique combos of ingredients (pears and roasted garlic? amazing).
Francesca's has really good authentic Italian.
If you're looking for some unique grocery shopping try Baron's Marketplace. You'd think it would be expensive because it's a specialty store but they've got great prices.

Public House in Old Town Temecula has the best patio around and their food is awesome. I actually crave their goat cheese toast! Best breakfast burrito comes from the Alberto's on Murrieta Hot Springs... egg, chorizo (not greasy) and potatoes. I have to also recommend 100 Mile Market on 5th street Old Town for great food to eat and to make.

Hmm that is tough. For Sushi, I like Hana the most right now. For a really good Carne Asada burrito, hands down Los Cabos in Murrieta.
Lastly, for a really good steak, probably the Great Oak restaurant in Pechanga. It has been a while and I make a pretty good steak myself, but that was one of the best I have had.

I don't really visit Temecula often enough to say. Tell me what the best Mexican restaurant in your area is. I love a great tamale. Any recommendations?
