What made our zestimate decline so dramatically. We have made many improvements not considered.

Many improvements and remodeling completed. New siding going on now. How do we get this reflected in the zestimate?

Your Zestimate may have gone down but not your value - typically two different things...

Zillow has no mechanism to reflect home improvements in their Zestimates, unless the tax assessor has bumped your tax value in response to your improvements.  Adding square footage to the home in question may offer Zestimate benefit (then you can claim your home and edit the square footage and you may see a slow Zestimate change)   This is part of the reason Zillow presents a value range, the homes needing improvement may be at the bottom of the value range, those recently remodeled may be at the top or above.

Zillow uses public data to create their Zestimates, and many attributes that may add value (or detract) aren't found in public data.  This is why a Zestimate is a starting point and not a substitute for an in person appraisal.
