What mortgage loan can you be approved at in Florida 2012 with two $30k incomes?

I know it is case by case situation. My husband has a 814 credit score. Mine was a 554 and I have brought it to a 627 in 4 months. We would like to start building a house in March 2012 on an acre we just purchased in July. We are wondering the amount of money we could be approved before we actually START talking to lenders. We make around $30-$32k a year.. each. We are smart and will never max ourselves out but just wondering so we can start getting serious about gathering ideas, plans. We will roll about $15k from our property into the mortgage also. It was appraised at $38k.. we owe $27k and will get the acre down to about $15k before building. Thank you so much!

Most lenders should be able to give you options and a no cost pre qualification if you bring them the income and asset documents they require. Good Luck to you!

I would contact a Mortgage Broker or a Bank to find the answer. They would be the ones to give you a better answer to this question.
