What grid are you referring to? What area? I'm not showing any other information than the question you asked.

I have lived in South Scottsdale for over ten years now. It's a fantastic community and close to everything. Location wise, it can get a little dicey when you go south of McDowell Rd.
South Scottsdale used to be the "poor, orphan stepchild" of the city, and the good news on that front was that they didn't do a lot of tear down and rebuilding in those neighborhoods. Since 2003, the City of Scottsdale made a concentrated effort to revitalize Downtown Scottsdale (aka "Old Town Scottsdale"). As of 2008, between public and private investment, over $1.97 billion dollars had been spent in new development. There's a lot of new urban loft living and many new restaurants. In addition, this area offers a free trolley service that runs every ten minutes and will take you around the all the Downtown Districts. Lots of great parks, walking&bike paths as well. Downtown Scottsdale is well known for its art galleries and night life too. The City of Scottsdale has a terrific website (in general) and here are some specific links regarding South Scottsdale: http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/downtown.asphttp://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/Assets/documents/reinvestment/Downtown+Investment.pdfhttp://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/downtown/Transportation.asp We even got written up in The New York Times (March 22, 2009) as a cool, hip destination. Here's the link to the article entitled "In This Scottsdale, Leave the Bolo Tie at Home":http://travel.nytimes.com/2009/03/22/travel/22next.html?scp=1&sq=scottsdale, arizona&st=cse Overall it's a great place to live and I love South Scottsdale!

I grew up in South Scottsdale.
The neighborhoods are coming back due to people renovating.
Great area.

No sure which area you are referring to? Can you be more specific, we would be happy to help.

What redevelopment is planned for this area?
Some of this area seems very seedy and yet there are pockets of nice looking homes.
