I am not a California Agent...  however...  Real Estate Laws for "REALTORS" are the same..

I would recommend that your find an agent that is a REALTOR ... meaning that they are bound by the National code of eithics.. ect... then interview those agents to insure that they specialize in what you are wanting that agent to sell........

Then I would ask for a CMA report..   and I would also recommend that you do an appraisal... but not nessessary, if the agent you have choosen to represent you does their job........... as they should.... 

However keep in mind......  right now times are tough.... and the market value is degreasing...  and it is A BUYER'S MARKET right now... 

so even if the agent you choose to represent you did all of what I mentioned...  PRICE , SHOWABILITY and INTEREST to buyer's makes all the difference...

I know rancho Dominguez well, but there are no homes in the traditional sense just mobile homes. If you are referring to the surrounding areas of Compton,Long Beach, and Carson the prices vary epending on the area. I saw a 4 bedroom 2 bath on my street in Carson go for $170,00 cash at foreclosure. On the other hand the 4 bedroom around the corner is lised at $350,000 post foreclosure. There are still homes listed in the half million dollar range but most are just that listed but not selling.
