What to do about water seepage in home?Moved into a house about 1 month ago and after 5 days of hard rain noticed water seepage in my dining room nook when I open all the cabinits on one side. Also the large puddles forming in the driveway by the house and this is where the water is pooling and going into the house. The wood is wet and the drywall as well. The seller in the disclosure makes note of no know water problems but this is a 40 year old home and cant be new. The crawl space has puddles on the side of the home as well and I am sure there must be mold. I found mold spray and broken drywall pieces in the shed. I feel ripped off.I am so upset as this is a major expense and I worry about health issues and the floor caving in as well. What can be done? Do I have recourse? How can I stop the rain from getting in?March 25 2012 - US00YesReport a ProblemProblemSelect oneOffensive contentIrrelevant contentSpam (pure self-promotion)OtherDetailsYour emailPlease enter a valid email address.Submit CancelContent flaggedWe will review this content.
