Whenever a crime rate goes down it's good news for everyoneThe Cape Coral Breeze reported on July 24, 2010, our Pine Island neighbor, the City of Cape Coral, had some good news to report on crime reduction. "The Cape Coral mid-year Uniform Crime Report showed a decrease of 17.5% in crime the first six months of 2010."Connie Barron, spokesperson for the City of Cape Coral said "Cape Coral has always prided itself on being one of the safest cities in Florida.
