Craigslist is good. You can also try some of the local colleges there in the area. Often the housing offices have a roommates board available in the office or online. You might also try contacting the capitol offices that handling housing for the visiting student interns and pages that work in Congress on a rotating basis. They may also have a housing office with listings that might help you.

Go to any related classified ads websites. You can find a lot there.
Try www.WashingtonCityPaper.com classified ads. Lots of folks looking
to share houses and rooms post there. The online part is updated on
Tuesday and the print version comes out on Thursday. You can find print
versions around the Metro stops.
Hope this helps!

Another place to try: Hillzoo.com. A lot of Congressional staffers look to share places in DC, and this is a common place for them to advertise. This is particularly true in the Capitol Hill area.

Where can I find a listing of rooms to share or rooms to rent in DC
