You can easily find several stagers in your area by going to the Real Estate Staging Association website (www.realestatestagingassociation.com).
The investment in staging varies, but as a general rule of thumb, it is typically between 1% and 3% of a home's listing price, depending on the condition of your home. If your home has updated colors, fixtures, and finishes, then your staging costs will be lower; if a lot of updating is required or furniture needs to be rented, the costs will be higher.
A reputable stager will want to schedule an assessment visit to tour your home and see exactly what will be needed to prepare it for sale, then you should receive a written proposal with the staging estimate.

Hi. I did a quick search for you on Activerain.com. Here are some stagers listed in the Bellingham WA area. Please note: I do not know any of these folks, nor am I familiar with their work. Give them a call and ask lots of questions. Good luck!

great suggestions already mentioned - try searching activerain and google using your city name and 'home stager' or 'stager'. Ask your realtor too. some stagers will give you quotes over the phone, others will have to see it to provide quote.
happy hunting!

I would ask your agent. He'll probably have one or two contacts to provide you with. If he does not work with any stagers or have contact information for you, he can possibvly obtain that information from his broker.
Good luck!
