If the information, the "book"&"page" is not listed in the property details on Zillow, you may be able to find the information online. Access your local Registry of Deeds online if it is available. Some counties charge a fee to view the information, some do not.

Once in, fill out what you know about the property: Address, last year sold, current owners last name, etc. You will look for the most recent document and it will give you the book it's recorded in and the page within that book. A legal description is usually the metes and bounds or perimeter of the property. Also included may be the deed and/or note on the property.

If that information is with the county, you'll find it on Zillow when you access the property's Home Info Page:
1. Type in a specific address on the Find bar (change the filter/drop-down option to Homes).
2. Click on the address within the map.
3. Click on the Home Info tab found at the left-hand side of the screen.

Legal Description will be found as the last information on the Home Facts section.
