Although I usually get my information from the tax office, it is not always accurate. It is wise to always double check the information for yourself, via past appraisals, building plans, etc.

You type in the city + assessor. Look up your home and look for the square footage breakdown.

The tax assessor office will have it. Also, you can call the planning department or zoning. I've found it ther in the past too.

If you go to your County Tax Assessor's Office they will have that information . They have acreage, Home Square Footage and year the house was built. That is how they detemine how much tax to charge.

Where do you find your local data for home size in square feet?
