Where is my perfect vacation home? Does it exist?

I just cannot figure out where to look for my fantasy vacation home.  This would be perfect for me:

1.  Within driving distance of downtown Chicago (3 hours or less), or, definitely not as good, at least close to an airport served by Chicago Midway ( see route map http://travel.southwest.c ... VLGUDE_HP )

2.  Near a state or national park, or large wooded area, and hopefully with a small lake nearby.  The house itself should be fairly secluded unless it is on the water, in which case it should be a short walk from a secluded wooded/hilly hiking area.

3.  A short distance away from golf and tennis, or even better a country club with these things.

Any ideas where to look for this?  I've considered SW Michigan, SE Wisconsin, Manchester NH, Tuscon and Phoenix, Santa Fe, Las Vegas.  I just don't know any of these areas well enough to know if any have what I want.
