If you are looking for 'one-stop' shopping, try Home Depot or Lowes. You can find cabinetry, fixtures, lighting...anything you need. It also makes things easier as far as coordinating finishes and styles because you can see how everything works together. And there is usually a large selection with very competitive pricing.

Check out Ikea. You can get some great affordable stuff that is still modern and good quality.

If you have to see it, smell it, or kick it, then buy your products at the local home improvement stores. Local home improvement stores offer instant products. The only negative is that someone else may have the same bathroom as yours. If you want to save a ton of money, buy those same products online. Even with the shipping cost, you will most likely save some money. If the items does not have to be brand new, I would strongly recommend craigslist.

When I was redoing my bathroom, I found almost all my fixtures on Ebay. I found my sink on Craigslist. It all depends on whether you're looking for NEW, RETRO or ANTIQUE.
With my place being built around 1916, I wanted antique fixtures and couldn't be happier with everything I found.
Just one shot....

Wall tile from Lowes. Floor tile from a company called American Universal out of Santa Ana. It took me nearly 8 months to get this completed. Partly because I took my time finding the exact fixtures I wanted. I do not plan on doing it again!

Love the retro sink and subway tile with the honeycomb floor. It's smashing!

Thanks sunnyview! Been a while since I've been here, but I do remember we always seemed to be on the same wavelength! :0)

Where should I buy bathroom furniture?
