Where to find short sale listings at great Seattle area?

Is there any particular web site or search filter to look for short sale homes? I tried both Redfin and other web sites and didn't find any.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

You can look on Seattle real estate listings if you use the advanced tab you can filter by both bank owned and short sales.

You might also consider homes that are on the brink of foreclosure, many of these are initially listed as short sales with no success finding a buyer,  ultimately auctioned every week in King County where I have helped other clients purchase below fair market value.  If you pursue this venue, be sure anyone helping you has the experience to look after your interests as it is not traditional real estate, most licensed agents are not familiar with practicing in this arena.

To echo the other posts - it's very easy for one of us agents to put together a search of just short sales in a specific area. I assume you are looking to get a good value by searching only for short sales, but they are often long, often unsuccessful, and may not be as good of a deal as bank-owned listings. If you're looking for value, you may want to consider opening up your search to bank-owned homes as well...where they've typically already been through an unsuccessful short sale process, didn't sell at auction, and are generally value-priced without the uncertainty of waiting months for short sale approval.

This is where you need a Real Estate Agent, because an Agent has all the short sale information available for you.  Look for an Agent that you are comfortable with and work with that agent there is no cost to you and you will have a professional working for you.  GOOD LUCK!

Your best and most accurate bet for finding foreclosures and short sales is to contact an agent in your area as they will have the up to date and accurate information. Do not visit websites that ask you to pay as they have out of date information. You can search in your zip code for an agent in your area as the agents that take the time to participate here on Zillow will work hard for you. I hope that helps.
