You can ordeer a "Property Profile" from a Title Company. They usually go back 10 years. A REA or MLO may also provide this for you.

As Bill said, use a Realtor. Sometimes historic transactions may be hard to understand, or interrept, so a professional may be needed...

Some homes have old transactions listed, while others don't. Juts enter the address at the top of the main page here and hit the blue go button. You can find them if they are listed on the home page like this one here right under the chart in the Price History. The oldest sale I've personally seen on Zillow was 1969 but records vary place to place. Hope it helps.
