Nice attempt at a scam. You might as well post your Nigerian lost money letter on here and promise people that a million dollars awaits them if they just send you a check for a few thousand.
Your post is the equivalent of the teenager who goes to the local convenient store and assures the clerk that the cigarettes aren't for him, but his father.

Certainly sounds like the listing agent that you claim is the listing agent is not the listing agent. Only the listing agent provides lock boxes.
Sure, if bank owned, the bank can provide their own lockbox, but if they did that, It is unlikely the person claiming to be the listing agent is the agent.
Check the MLS again... and if the agent is not the agent, file a complaint with the MLS so that the agent will stop scamming people.
Now, any agent should know how Sepra lock boxes work or other lock boxes... how do you propose that someone OTHER than the owner of the box got it removed???
(Zillow gets hundreds of "pranks" of people claiming false things just to try to steal web page views... it doesn't work).
You also didn't give an address, so how do you propose that someone check on the listing status?

Zillow is not a real estate company and they do not have listings. Honestly, it sounds like a scam in progress. Zillow does not change locks or deal with asset managers. They are a media company not real estate agency. What state is the property in? Is the house listed on the local MLS?

Thanks. It is a short sale, and according to the listing agent, the locks were changed without his knowledge. It was a fellow agent that informed him that there was a combination box on the property instead of an electronic box with a key. No information is available from the listing agent about the code. Several calls to Zillow AND the property asset company have gone unanswered in the last 3 working days. Thanks again.

Zillow is just a clearing house of information as far as listing are concerned and have nothing to do with the actual sale of the house.
I would call that listing agent back to get the true information. If it is bank owned, they may have to make a phone call to get the new combo, but I refuse to believe that the listing agent is so clueless as to think that a Seattle-based internet company swooped in and did a locksmith job on a Florida property,

Who at Zillow can give me the code to show?
