How is that working for you?

I just listed a home in a neighborhood that we are all using the code. It does seem to be being used by those that want more information. Not sure if it will be a good thing at this point.

I have them on my listing flyers and business cards, though most people in my area don't know what they are at this point I think they will become very popular soon. I see them on a lot of products.

My agent (who rs a ReMax agent) had them on all the info she gave me. It was kind of handy, but I didnt use it much.

I am not using them a lot mostly because my clients do not have a need for it and the referrals I get usually just call me direct.

I did some print advertising in a local newspaper recently and added them to my ad. The ad ran for 1 Saturday and I had 4 people use it. I have had too much need for them other than that yet. But now that I have a droid I am tempted myself to scan anything that has it just to see where it goes!

I have had a qr code on my card, and on my car for months. I am frankly tired of explaining what it is. I am in Sacramento, as I am from here, it took me awhile to figure out how backward people are here.

Not me . . . yet. I suspect that the universe of users who know what it is (see John's comment) and who have the equipment (a smart phone) to use it is still pretty small. Maybe use it to let others know that I'm technologically savvy? (Though at age 59 I know a lot more about technology and QR codes than my 21 year old MP3 playing/Web surfing son.)

Using QR codes...
I can't help but think this conversation reminds me of what it must have been like when the telephone was invented. Imagine the similarities of one's comments at that time. Just because there's a learning curve, doesn't mean the product or service is not needed. If adoption is the name of the game, perhaps we need to reach out.
I am actively adding a rider saying "Scan My QR Code" to my signs. The sticker with actual QR code is on a weather resistant sticker (Zazzle.com). My stickers are shipping size and the full directions are next to the code. Focus on results.
My mobile friendly website (Realbird.com) offers free (3) custom domains. I have used Budurl.com to track the effects of using the QR codes. Track your business and use it often. You'll be amazed that you're probably getting traffic you didn't even realize.

I love QR codes, I've started to place them in a lot of different advertisements. Listing signs, back of business cards etc. I think the more people get used to them the more beneficial they will become, worth it. Best wishes

I have been thinking about it for awhile, I think I have all my social media/blogging tactics fairly perfected. How do I go about getting one... gonna google it now. BTW, does anyone have a blog and add the GoogleMe option? I found that quite useful!

Better late than never!! I just came across this post and it sparked my interest. I use a QR code; it was one of the first things I did!! I incorporated it on my business card--this will take a potential client to my website-THIS will lead them to my Facebook Page, which will lead them back to my website OR my Zillow page....it goes on and on. I am trying to close the 'circle' so that my leads have NO problem finding me! Our high-tech society is just too high speed to let opportunites like FREE QR coding slip through the cracks. Heck, I say if condiments now have codes, why shouldn't we? :-) M~

Someone please show me data that QR codes work. I haven't seen any thus far.
I'll forgo the rant that I could all-to-easily dive into right now. If you want to read it, I wrote it on Geek Estate a couple months ago.

I use them as a sign rider on For Sale signs. They haven't gotten a lot of hits. Can't say why as one of the listings is at a stop light, major intersection, and across the street from a school. So, there is walking traffic and lots of "stopped" traffic. Just don't think too many people know what the heck they are yet. It still seems to be a marketing differentiation in listing appointments. I'll continue to use them, they seem cost effective. Remember to optimize the QR code for mobile or it's a waste, in my oppinion!

I use to use them in my signs and online advertisings. However, very very very few people know about them, let alone use them. It took my staff more time to generate the QR codes and post them, print them, etc. It wasn't worth it. It never caught on.

Our office uses QR along with text codes as part of our marketing. We place the QR codes on , sign riders, back of business cards, flyers, etc…. As more people are using smart phones, QR codes are becoming a beneficial marketing tool.
