April 1st is the Filing Deadline to Appeal Your Property Taxes....

Want to appeal your taxes on your own and all you need are the right comparables?  The number one reason an appeal fails is because the applicant did not make a strong case that the property value declined.  In a walking town like Hoboken, blocks matter.  Building style, finish level, amenity are also very important.  The comps are at the core of winning a reduction in your property taxes.

Zillow does not allow me to post more than 2000 characters. [hotlink removed by Zillow moderator] to get the full article + the forms for filing in Hudson County.
