Why Zestimate for any property is blank?

Every property I found on Zillow has Zestimate blank (0).

We did have an issue with "synching" across our servers whereby data wasn't updating across various components of the site(eg search maps to HDP to listview) as consistently or quickly as it should have. As was reported by others, this issue affected certain regions of the country and not others and resulted in varying display behaviors(eg Zestimate on map but not HDP, or many properties "losing" their Zestimates suddenly).

As of this time all indications are that synchronization is mostly complete.

We do apologize for the confusion.

Sincerely,
Russ

The Zestimates seem to be back on line now.  Apparently a temporary glitch in the system yesterday (that must have take them hours to fix today).

imanagerent i went to the SF house you linked, and saw no zestimate in the usual place, however it was readily available in the graphic. and i went away, then came back, and still no zestimate in the usual place. you must have had a cached copy of that URL in your browser.

ive found some still have the zestimate at the top AND in the graphic over time, whereas others only have it in the graphic. so you can still get the zestimate by hovering your mouse over the latest timepoint in the graph of zestimates over time.

It shows Zestimate for some properties, but if you reload page, or return to same property, this value is off and on randomly. Looks like some glitch for me. Here is one of examples

http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2163-34th-Ave-San-Francisco-CA-94116/15117315_zpid/

Zestimate was None. Refreshed page and it shows $739,400, refreshed again and it shows None again.

This is what Zillow says on the subject:
My house doesn't have a Zestimate. What's up?

If your house doesn't have a Zestimate, it means we do not have transaction history around that the house. This is possibly because your house is in a "non-disclosure" state (Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming) where transactions are not publicly reported. We do have access to the home details and the tax assessed value, so we are showing you that information. In addition to contributing to inefficient real estate markets, this reduced visibility into home transactions is usually the subject of local controversy, since it can result in unfair taxation.

If the home is not in those states, it might be that we have the tax assessed value, market assessed value or tax appraised value and home information from local public records, but we do not have sales transactions from our data providers for the area. We are hoping to get that soon, so come back.

I just pulled a few properties as a test and they all had a zestimate.
