No fair minded person would give kudos to any company that behaves in such an arrogant manner to refuse all reasonable attempts to delete or correct incorrect data. Surely zillow should welcome errors of this nature being pointed out so they can improve the accuracy of the information they publish.

Kudos to Zillow that the one who screams loudest doesn't jump to the head of the line! Sounds like appropriate behavior for a fair minded society.
well you will hear it many more times over the next 4 to 6 months thanks to Zillows instransigence in this matter.

Yes, so I've heard.
My point being that if they take so long to make corrections they should remove the erroneous zestimate until they correct their source data. Any fair minded company would do just that without a consumer even having to make such a request.

@Surbiton: As your initial time frame was approximately 8 months, it sounds like Zillow is on track.
Response from Neil at Zillow
It seems that an investigation has already been processed for your request. Unfortunately, we would need to wait for 4 - 6 months to get this updated.
Our apologies for this inconvenience.
So zillow have a problem that impacts my zestimate and they tell me to wait another 4 - 6 months to get it fixed after I have been waiting 4 months already. What other company would take such an arrogant approach when it is their data that is causing the incorrect zestimate.

I would rather not give my address on a public forum as I recently 'unclaimed' my home after some particularly hostile posts as per the attached thread link. I believe you have details of my home address already.

I trust a similar "investigation" will be done for my home as well,- you have it in the wrong city

@Joann
I have a similar issue where zillow states my home is in the neighboring city 6 miles away. Even though they accept there is an error they refuse to correct an erroneous zestimate as they claim the mapping error doesn't impact the valuation. It is very frustrating when a company can impose unwanted and inaccurate valuations without fear of any consequence the way zillow does. It is time these companies were subject to regulation in the same way as other industries are to protect the consumers interest as well as the revenue interest of the company.

Hi Joann,
Happy New Year!! If you can find out which agency holds the listings, they would be the one to correct it whether a Zillow partner or not. I haven't had much trouble with the MLS being inaccurate. I have seen typo's that usually get fixed right away. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

This has only been happening within the past couple of months, so I don't uunderstand the reason for the change. Agree that Zillow is not 100% accurate but, as a retiredf broker, I'd have to say the MLS also has many errors and both are only as good as whatever data is input. The difficulty here is in finding a way to contact anyone who can correct it.

Hi. I looked up Bernice on Zillow and did not see where the page noted the property was in the Green Run subdivision. I looked it up in the Realtor database and it showed Princess Anne. Since I wasn't able to duplicate what you saw I can only suggest that Zillow is not 100% accurate and the site pulls its information from many different resources. The only trusted resource is the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) that is only available to Realtors. Hope this helps.

Try 3 recently solds: 453 Bernice, 443 Appian and 455 Appian. All show as Green Run but should be Princess Anne Plaza.

WHAT address do you refer to ?
Why are homes listed in wrong subdivision?
