It happens on a regular basis because many agents think that removing it from the MLS removes it from all other websites. Unfortunately that isn't the case. Fortunately more and more agents are becoming internet savy, and Zillow is improving their screenings for expired listings so it is somewhat less common than it was even two years ago.

Why does this happen on a regular basis. I have had this problem with Zillo a number of times.
