I have been seeing and increase in auction homes that set an unrealistic asking price like 5,000 - 19,000 just to stir attention. This tends to attract buyers to the market that may just need a little help and guidance to get to a home that they will really love.
Its not if you can buy a home its When!
Occasionally a home is listed very low just to move it. I know of a person that follows my advice newsletter who took a chance on a home listed for $7,500. She purchased it for $6,000. After a little sweat equity and another $4,000 she moved in! She bought a 3 br/2 ba home and has $10K invested. That's a sweet deal and she got it because she was willing to take a chance. Don't avoid listings just because the list price is very low ... Sometimes they turn out to be the real thing. Good Luck! :)MIke Grossmgross@nextagepeachtree.comhttp://NextagePeachtree.com
