Why are the lot lines offset on zillow maps?

My lot is right shape but is offset to the west about 100-200 feet.

It is actually amazing how accurate these property lines are lined up at all to the pictures. These are done by computers and not anyone actually sitting down and accurately lining it up. If it is 100 feet off on one end, it is more than likely 100 feet off on the other side as well.

If I had a buyer really interested in finding out the property lines, a surveyor can be hired to mark the corners.
